Sorry about that

Sorry for the break in service. I unexpectedly moved- not that it was a bad thing, but I thought I'd be moving at the end of the summer versus last week, so it's been a bit of a rush. But sometimes there's no control on these things.
Knitting wise, I made another (again unexpected) trip to Brooklyn General Store last weekend with the express purpose of buying yarn to make myself (of all people!) a sweater for the summer. I got some lovely "Sublime" half cotton, half soy dk- very soft, machine washable, reasonably priced, lovely to work with so far (albeit a bit splitty).
I didn't feel like reinventing the wheel this time- in the midst of all this moving, I wanted to just get it on the needles and knit mindlessly, which is impossible when I'm designing something from scratch. So I searched online and found a pattern for a jacket on the Drops website, which I've never used before (the entire website, not just the pattern). So we'll see how it turns out- I'll keep you posted.
Oh, the socks? Still unfinished.... I'll finish them, eventually.
